Who says circus and elegant don't go together? Today's Monday Musings combines these two ideas with the use of Le Cirque paper from Graphic 45.
I found these transparencies at For Keeps Sake. One is the elegant frame used on the card and the other is the tick-tack-toe board. Using Graphic 45's Le Cirque, I decided to create a card with blacks and yellows. For the transparency, I first stamped *Thanks so much* on yellow Bazzill cardstock. Then adhered the transparency to the cardstock, centering the image. I used tiny dots of Glossy Accents for the binding agent and placed them just under the design on the transparency. (You only need a teeny bit.)
While that was drying, I started layering the Graphic 45 paper and polka dot border onto the card front. I cut out around the transparency, using the transparency as a template. Adhered to the front of the card and it was ready for the mail in less than a 1/2 hour.
The other transparency I found was the tick-tack-toe board. Although I haven't done anything with it yet, I think the colors will work really well with Le Cirque and . . .
how cute would it be to put photos into those black transparency windows! It would be perfect for a birthday layout or an *I love you to pieces* scrapbook page. It's large enough where you could also just punch holes in it and add it to a bookbinding.
There are dozens of these little transparencies at For Keeps Sake with so many possibilities. Hope to see you there, perusing the aisles! I'll be the one loaded down with transparencies and Le Cirque paper.
