This week @ For Keeps Sake . . .

Raise your hand if you are tired of HOT weather.  We love summer but these past few week have been over the top!  Speaking of over the top . . . we are starting to see the first of our CHA orders trickle in.  So far Reminisce, EK Success, Paper House, WR Memory Keepers and Pink Paislee have made an appearance! 

Mary's Celebrate Our Freedom Free Card Crop last week was a huge success.  These ladies made dozens of cards to support OPERATION WRITE HOME.  The ladies are already asking for another session so stay tuned for all the details!

Our new cropping policy has also been popular:  We are now offering FREE CROPPING.  Beginning in July our Girls Night Out Crop & Daytime Cropping are absolutely FREE.     Daytime cropping is during normal store hours.  No strings attached with one exception:  we need a minimum of 10 croppers for our Girls Night Out crops.  Call the store to save your space!  Call us for all the details!

Amy teaches you how to use your Silhouette in a 1 on 1 session by appointment!  Call For Keeps Sake to schedule your appointment!

Learn how to use the new Silhouette Studio software to create custom titles and embellishments for your scrapbook pages or cards using your Silhouette. The new Silhouette Studio software takes word welding to a new level and even allows for your title to be curved! 

Pleases bring your Silhouette, a laptop with the new software downloaded onto it, your Silhouette tools, and some cardstock to class.

"The Women-The Flag" Notes from KC: Here's your chance to learn all my secrets to the easy way to make this amazing (and large 32x48) piece of art that you will treasure forever...and yes there is a hard way to do it. :-) You can make one using my images of the 50 women I selected for the 50 stars or choose your own images in the theme you prefer (this option is for folks who already know how to do photo transfers). There is also the alternative (shown below) of making one with a Crazy Quilt heart or star or cross and the word of your choice. I made a cool one with the word Cowgirl in the center of the star, as well as one with Hope and one with Love Thy  Neighbor in the place of the 50 images on the ticking. Very fun! Celebrate Our Freedom Free Card Crop with Mary

This month we celebrate our Freedom and who better to thank, than our service men and women. Join me (Mary) for a fun-filled day!  FKS is donating the cropping room and cardstock so we can make cards to send to the troops for "Operation Write Home". Bring a card idea, a snack to share, and your supplies, and join in the fun. Any scrap paper or supplies are WELCOME. Hope to see you there. I'm sure the troops will be thrilled with what we create.
