Celebrate Our Freedom Free Card Crop with Mary

This month we celebrate our Freedom and who better to thank, than our service men and women. Join me (Mary) for a fun-filled day! FKS is donating the cropping room and cardstock so we can make cards to send to the troops for "Operation Write Home". Bring a card idea, a snack to share, and your supplies, and join in the fun. Any scrap paper or supplies are WELCOME. Hope to see you there. I'm sure the troops will be thrilled with what we create. Please call FKS and let us know if you can attend. The more the merrier!

The Fashionista and her little black book: $65
Class Description: This chubby little book is 3” X 3” X 5” inches tall. It may be small in size, but its 36 pages are stamped and packed with cutouts, charms, envelopes, tags, etc. Learn to make this simple book cover using black chipboard and book cloth. Each signature of pages will be tied in with lush ribbons of rayon and dupioni silk. Charms will include the “Vintaj” closure and a red quartz dangle. We will share our tips for attaching trims for a finely finished look.
BYO: Lunch + scissors, 1/8 inch hole punch, glue stick and any other adhesive of your choice & red line tape. We will be using a Japanese hole punch and will have several available for classroom use, but if you have your own, you won‟t have to share. Please be sure to have your name marked on it.

Create 5 dominoes using stamps and color with Adirondack markers. Drill and wire wrap to finish your pieces.

Karen is a paper crafter & designer from Texas with a passion for pop ups! Her background is civil engineering & she puts those skills to good use as a licensed designer for Sizzix. Her newest collection of pop-up & accessory dies were designed to be quick, easy & versatile. After learning how to use these dies you'll be cranking out pop-up cards for every occasion! Karen is a seasoned instructor, having taught at stores, events & trade shows throughout the world. For Keeps Sake is taking applications! It doesn't happen very often but we will be saying goodbye to our College girls in August! Applicants must be available to work flexible hours {keep in mind we are open nights & weekends}! Of course all applicants must have a knowledge of and love all things paper crafting! Stop in and pick up your application!
We are always looking for creative people to teach classes @ For Keeps Sake. If you have great ideas for classes or something crafty to share, you may be just what we are looking for. We are especially looking for someone to teach Cricut Classes. Call For Keeps Sake to set up an appointment with Timi & Nancy. Be prepared to bring in samples of your work and let us know what you would like to teach!
