You're invited to join our newest Club *A Cut Above* .

What's it all about? It's a monthly meet-up where you make a project with the latest in die-cutting plates from Lifestyle Crafts. These plates are compatible with any die-cutting machine. The best part: Join the Club and you get an exclusive FREE die-cutting plate each month designed only for Club Members.

 

Where: For Keeps Sake Scrapbook - 4530 Lemay Ferry Road - St. Louis MO 63129

When: The first A Cut Above Club meeting will take place on Thursday, June 28 and always the last Thursday of each month after that.

Time: One hour meet-ups, one time each month: 2 pm - 3 pm or 6 pm - 7 pm

Club Dues: Only $5 per month for the project payable in 6 month installments. Total cost = $30.

Cost of the exclusive die:  FREE to members!

Where has April gone?  It's hard to believe but it's already the last week of the month!  We are getting ready for National Scrapbook Day on Saturday, May 5th.  Our crop is already full but we have a full day of fun that will include, Make 'n Takes and our famous "Cake Walk Game" with great prizes!

Kaisercraft Tray Frame with Sue

Sunday, April 15 @ 12-2PM

In the class we will decorate an unfinished wood frame. The frame measures 10x10 and is a great size to highlight a 4x6 photo. Mother's Day is right around the corner and this will make a great personalized gift.

 

Two Tag Tuesday

Tuesday, April 17 @ 2-4PM or 6-8PM

Join Nancy to create two tags each month, each with a technique or two.   Fee for this is only $10.   Each month we will concentrate on a different theme so that you will end with a series of tags to use in scrapbooking or collect a series to make a mini-booklet.

Advanced Resist Techniques with Nancy Curry

Saturday April 21, 2012  10:30 am-1:30 pm


This class takes beginning resist techniques to a new level and can be easily applied in altered art, scrapbooking, card-making, and other paper arts projects.   Techniques demoed and explored include the use of palette stamps, templates, foam palettes,  and patterning by mixing ink types, splattering, masking grids and freeform Bargello design. 


Students do not need to have taken the basic resist class in January.  This class stands alone.


Students will need to bring 3-5 dye ink pads (darker colors provide more contrast), a Metallic pad or two, several themed stamps in varying sizes, cutting mat/knife or small paper cutter and basic stamping supplies.
